Circus Monkey Nuts ~ Philanthropy Wax Melts

Pop a melt into your burner and be whisked away to a magical night at the circus with our rich, edible-inspired sweet & salted peanut fragrance.

Step right up to the playful aroma of Circus Monkey Nuts Wax Melts. As the wax gently warms, the air fills with a comforting blend of sweet and salty peanuts ~ instantly evocative of circus stalls, laughter, and childhood wonder. Perfect for scenting your space with a nostalgic, whimsical twist.

Inspired by fond family trips to the circus and the old-fashioned nut machines of yesteryear, this scent is built upon a rich edible accord of salted peanuts, layered with a subtle hint of nutty vetiver. The result is an authentic, powerful fragrance that feels almost mouth-watering. Can you almost taste the sweet and salty richness with every inhale?

Our Circus Monkey Nuts charity wax melts aim to shine a light on the animal entertainment industry for what it truly is. We believe animals belong in the wild ~ free to roam, explore, and live as nature intended, not confined for human amusement.

At The Candle Carousel®, our little wax wonders are designed to keep the magic swirling for as long as possible. Each melt is hand-poured with a generous fragrance blend, giving you hours of cosy delight with every warm-up.

Per Wax Melt

Measures 4.1cm width (widest point), 1.9cm Depth. One melt typically gives you 8–12 hours of beautiful aroma — sometimes even longer, depending on your burner and the scent you choose.

A full pack offers days of fragrance, often totalling 32–48 hours of dreamy, comforting scent that floats gently through your home.

Why They Last So Well

Our melts use:

  • Slow-melting, eco-friendly wax

  • High-quality fragrance oils that linger

  • A blend hand-crafted for long, steady aroma release

Meaning you can sit back, relax, and let the sweet swirl of scent carry you off to your favourite nostalgic places.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

How to Use Wax Melts

  1. Choose Your Warmer:
Use only in a tea light warmer or electric wax melt warmer approved for wax melts.
  2. Add the Wax:
Place 1–2 wax melts in the dish of your warmer — do not add water.
  3. Melt & Enjoy:
Turn on your warmer (or light the tea light) and enjoy the fragrance as the wax melts.
  4. When Scent Fades:
Once the scent weakens, allow the wax to cool and solidify. Remove and dispose of it responsibly — do not pour wax down the drain.

Safety Information

  • Never leave a burning or powered-on warmer unattended.
  • Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
  • Use only on a heat-resistant, flat surface.
  • Do not overfill the warmer bowl.
  • Do not move the warmer while the wax is hot or melted.
  • Do not add water or other substances to the wax.
  • Store melts in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Tip: For best scent throw, use in a small to medium-sized room and replace wax every 8–12 hours of melting time, depending on fragrance strength.

Fun Fact

Joshua Purdy Brown staged the first circus in a tent or big top in America in 1825. Before that, circuses were performed in buildings or in the open air. According to circus superstition, it's unlucky to wear green in the ring and many carry hair from an elephant’s tail in their pockets for good luck. The modern circus was invented in London by trick horse-rider Philip Astley, who opened his Amphitheatre of Equestrian Arts in London, in 1768. Astley never called his show a 'circus'. The word was coined by writer and actor Charles Dibdin who founded the competing Royal Circus with Astley's equestrian rival Charles Hughes.

The not-so-fun fact... Not all elements of the Circus are positive and animals often pay the price for viewer entertainment living in cramped and confined quarters for months on end. Big cats can spend up to 96% of their time in crates so small they can barely turn around. Elephants and other wild animals are subjected to cruel training techniques including electric prods and starvation not to mention their nutritional needs are often ignored while on the road. More and more circuses now operate without wild animals but this is only evident in 48 countries currently.

Treat Yourself

We believe everyone carries a little inner mischief and magic, just waiting to be awakened ~ and our nostalgic scents are designed to put you centre stage.
Whether treating yourself or someone you love, each candle is a small act of joy, wrapped in warmth, laughter, and imagination.
