Fun Fact
Insect repel fragrance
The earliest insect repellents can be traced back to Ancient Egypt and Roman times, but the most popular insect repel fragrance Citronella was officially registered as a repellent in 1948. Known for its distinctive lemony scent that humans like but insects hate, Citronella works by masking the scent that attracts bugs and insects and is incorporated into candles and fragrances to keep pesky mosquitos and bugs at bay both inside and outside the home. It's derived from the leaves and stems of the lemongrass plant and is famous in many cultures for being a symbol of purification and protection.
Treat Yourself
At The Candle Carousel, feel-good fun is at the very core of every one of our candles with child-like wonder being released every time you light the wick. We believe that every one has an inner child that needs to be nurtured and our nostalgic scents are designed to do just that.
